Shawlands Parent Calendar 2026/2027

Dear Parents/Carers,

We will be updating the planned for the academic year 2026/2027 in September.

We want to give you as much notice as

possible so that you can plan in advance. There are some events that
are still be added on – we will make you aware of any updates as soon as
possible.

Please be aware that, in extreme circumstances,
some dates may need to change. We will always do our best to keep you
informed and notify you as soon as possible should this happen.

Those dates highlighted in green are when parents
are invited into school (if it is their child’s class).

Other dates are events in school for you to be
aware of.

We appreciate that there are a number of events
close together in places, but this is simply how the dates have fallen. We
hope you find having the calendar in advance helpful, and thank you for your
continued support.

Kind regards,

Shawlands Primary School

Class assemblies will be 3:00pm – 3:20pm – only two adults per child to attend the assemblies please due to hall size.

Most inspire days are in the afternoon approx. 1:30pm
– end of day
but more information will be sent out nearer the days
for this – only one adult per child will be able to attend the inspire
day.

Please bear with us with class assemblies and inspire days. We hope they will be a really positive experience. As this is the
first year we are running them, there may be some teething problems. We are
always open to any constructive feedback about these days from a parent’s
perspective- what you enjoyed or how they can be improved.
